Experienced shopping mall industry professional with over 20 years experience in Middle East. Hands on experience in leading Real estate master developments, Townships, retail portfolios including super regional malls, community centers, strip retail centers, Luxury and premium shopping centres etc. I started my career in the real estate industry in Oman with Zubair corporation, one of the largest private entities in Oman and managed many properties of the company in different capacities. I relocated to Dubai with Union Properties PJSC, a quasi government company and a subsidiary of Emirates NBD, joining as an Estate manager. Was promoted to the role of Sr. Retail manager heading the retail dept, I was responsible for the entire retail real estate portfolio of the company which included Uptown Mirdiff, MotorCity, Umm Suqeim center, Green community Market, Ritz Carlton Hotel/Limestone house,Index tower etc I relocated to Abu Dhabi in 2010 with Line investments and properties, one of the largest shopping mall developers and operators in the Middle East wherein I was assigned leasing responsibilities for some of the leading shopping malls in the region. Worked with 'ICT' the real estate and asset management arm of the Abu Dhabi Royal Family, was entrusted with re-strategising and repositioning prestigious Nation Towers mall development, successfully leased and set up operational process for the development - Development comprises of luxury hotel St. Regis, Office complex, Residential complex and an independent beach club, www.nationtowers.ae Currently the General Manager of project development and leasing for Lulu Group international responsible for Oman region as well as Bahrain, am responsible for setting up the asset management division to operate all retail and real estate assets in Oman. Developed and opened Oman's largest shopping and retail destination - 'Oman Avenues Mall' with 80,000 m2 of GLA, currently the mall is going through an expansion phase that would accommodate the first IKEA mega store in Oman.
